The Wisconsin-Japan Strategic Investment Partnership (WJSIP) was formed late last year and is chaired by former Gov. Tommy Thompson. The partnership is focused on strengthening Wisconsin’s competitiveness for Japanese investment in key sectors, including advanced manufacturing, critical minerals and metals extraction, energy, pharmaceuticals and medical products, and shipbuilding.
